A motor vehicle accident in Dawsonville, Georgia Monday morning, September 9, 2019, injured two people.
As reported by AJC.com, the accident happened on Ga. 53 west of Lake Lanier, the highway was shut down between Dawson Forest and War Hill Park roads.
A truck carrying mining explosives overturned on the highway.
According to the report, “[a] Buick sedan sideswiped the truck…[t]he Buick then sideswiped a Nissan Versa following behind the truck before colliding with a Dodge Charger.”
Two men were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with minor injuries.
The driver of the Buick was arrested on multiple charges, according to the report.
