A motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles in Waynesboro, Georgia Thursday morning, May 14, 2020, caused the loss of one woman and injured two others.
As reported by AugustaChronicle.com, “Deputies, EMA and Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene on Highway 24 near Stripp Lane around 7:45 a.m.”
WRDW.com is reporting, “[t]he drivers of all three vehicles were transported to Burke Medical Hospital” but one victim was tragically unable to survive injuries sustained in the incident. According to the report, “Shalonda Free-Gardner, 40, was identified later in the afternoon” as the victim.
The crash investigation is ongoing.
