Tifton, GA – A motor vehicle hit-and-run accident Thursday evening, January 23, 2025, left one man fatally injured.
As reported by WALB.com, “[t]he Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is searching for the vehicle involved in a Jan. 23 hit and run…the crash happened near US-82 near Tift Avenue.”
According to the report, “the victim, identified as 81-year-old Johnnie McKinnon, of Tifton, died from his injuries a few hours later at the hospital.”
