One man was shot and killed and multiple others were injured at a Savannah, Georgia apartment complex late Friday night, June 11, 2021.
As reported by SavannahNow.com, “[t]he Savannah Police Department responded to the incident in [a] neighborhood in the 200 block of Avery Street off of Oglethorpe Avenue…at around 9 p.m.”
According to the report, “[e]ight people were shot Friday night…killing one person, and injuring among others an 18-month old infant, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old. Two other adults were critically injured.”
CapitalGazette.com is reporting that the “shooting happened…at an apartment complex when someone inside a dark-colored or red sedan fired rounds into a crowd of people gathered outside….” The report indicates that the “[t]he person killed was identified as Arthur Milton, 20.”
The investigation is ongoing.
