An accident involving a vehicle injured a child pedestrian Thursday, May 30, 2019. According to AJC.com, “[t]he incident happened about 6:20 p.m. Thursday on Rockbridge Road near Rays Road, DeKalb County.”  The news story reports, “[a] child riding a scooter was hit by a car…and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.”  The driver of the vehicle did stay on the scene and an investigation is ongoing according to the report.

An accident involving a vehicle injured two pedestrian children Thursday, May 30, 2019. According to 11Alive.com, “the accident happened in the area of Columbia Drive and Peachcrest Road.”  Per the report, officials are unsure if the children were in the roadway or alongside the road when the incident happened.  According to the report the children are stable.

The accident remains under investigation.
