A motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a tractor-trailer in Cherokee County, Georgia Friday morning, April 10, 2020, caused the death of one person.
As reported by AJC.com, “[t]he wreck occurred about 8:15 a.m. near the intersection on Knox Bridge Highway and Ga. 108 in the Sutallee community.”
According to the report, “the driver of the truck was traveling east on Ga. 108 when he ran the red light and collided with the SUV, which was turning onto Knox Bridge Highway from Upper Sweetwater Trail.”
CBS46.com is reporting, “[t]he woman [in the SUV] was taken to Northside Cherokee Hospital where she later died. Police identified the victim to be 62-year-old Kathleen Quigley of Sutallee.”
The investigation is ongoing.
