A motor vehicle accident in Jacksonville, FL Thursday evening, October 24, 2019, injured a man and boy from Georgia.
As reported by News4Jax.com, “a Jeep Wrangler was traveling south on Interstate 295 in the outside lane of the Buckman Bridge about 8 p.m. when it struck the rear of a disabled vehicle in that lane.”
The disabled vehicle was a Honda Pilot and had its emergency flashers on.
According to the report, “[a] 7-year-old Georgia boy in the Pilot was critically injured and the driver of the Pilot, a 40-year-old Georgia man, suffered minor injuries.”
Both occupants of the Honda Pilot were taken to UF Health hospital.
The driver of the Jeep ” was taken to Orange Park Medical Center with minor injuries and was cited with careless driving,” according to the report.
