A motor vehicle hit-and-run accident in Macon, Georgia Monday evening, October 7, 2019, injured one person.
As reported by WGXA.tv, The accident happened “just before 5:30 p.m. in the 5400 block of Mount Pleasant Church Rd.”
A Ford Expedition wrecked into a Honda Odyssey and then drove off from the scene leaving an injured 38-year-old man from Lizella.”
According to the report, deputies later found the suspect vehicle and the driver “has been charged with DUI and hit and run causing injuries.”
The victim was taken to The Medical Center, Navicent Health and is in stable condition.
