Stone Mountain, GA – One young man is dead and two people were injured after a shooting at a Stone Mountain, GA shopping center Saturday evening, October 5, 2024.  

As reported by AtlantaNewsFirst.com, “[p]olice said officers responded to a small shopping center containing a gas station and several other businesses on the 1200 block of Panola Road around 7 p.m. Saturday.”

WSBTV.com is reporting, “[p]olice found 21-year-old, Jahsir McLean dead in the parking lot with several gunshot wounds. They also found [two additional victims]. Both were taken to the hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.”
According to the report, “[t]he initial investigation shows a car pulled up to one or more of the victims before several shots were fired from the car. The suspects drove away.”
The investigation is ongoing.

Atlanta, GA – One man is dead after a shooting at a restaurant and lounge Saturday night, September 28, 2024.  

As reported by Decaturish.com, “Atlanta Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Saturday night, Sept. 28, in the Kirkwood neighborhood. Officers responded to 2254 Oakview Road SE around 10:34 p.m. That is the business address for Morris Restaurant & Lounge.”

Fox5Atlanta.com is reporting, “[t]he victim was celebrating his 40th birthday when multiple gunshots rang out. He was pronounced dead at the scene.”  The news outlet confirms that the incident “happened at the Morris Restaurant and Lounge.”
