Gunfire erupted at an Augusta, Georgia gas station early Thursday morning, August 4, 2022, leaving one man dead and two others injured.

As reported by WRDW.com, “[d]eputies responded to the Get-N-Go store on the 2350 block of Windsor Spring Road around 12:46 a.m. for reports of a shooting.”

AugustaChronicle.com is reporting, “Damien Tanksley, 35, of Augusta, was shot at least one time…around 12:46 a.m. and later died at Augusta University Medical Center.”

According to the report, “Sonya Logan, 47, of Augusta, and Willie Gonder, 39, were also shot at least one time during the incident.”

The investigation is ongoing.

A man lost his life after a shooting at an Atlanta, Georgia apartment complex Wednesday night, August 3, 2022.

As reported by 11Alive.com, “[o]fficers responded to the Manor Apartments at 1483 Arthur Langford Jr Place SW, close to the Downtown Connector and not far from the Arthur Langford Jr. Skate Park around 8 p.m.”

WSBtv.com is reporting, “when [officers] arrived to the complex, they found a man believed to be between 35 and 40 years old who had been shot several times. The man, whose identity has not been released, died at the apartment complex.”

Gunfire erupted at an Augusta, Georgia convenience store Tuesday morning, July 26, 2022, leaving one man dead.

As reported by WJBF.com, “Tuesday morning, about 10: 45 a.m., deputies responded to [a convenience store] located at 2302 Wheeless Rd in reference to a shooting.”

According to the report, “[u]pon arrival, they located one male victim who had been shot at least once. The male victim was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injury.”

WFXG.com is reporting, “[t]he Richmond County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in Tuesday’s shooting on Wheeless Rd. as thirty-three-year-old Anthony Lee Flowers.”
