A motor vehicle accident caused injuries to several people Thursday afternoon, March 28, 2019.  According to WSBtv.com, “[a] school bus was involved in a chain-reaction crash in Coweta County Thursday afternoon, injuring multiple students, the bus driver and an assistant…the crash happened at Highway 154 and Woolsie Road around 12:15 p.m.” The news story reports that “two cars were going north, with one about to pull onto Woolsie Road. One car bumped the other, sending the lead car into the path of the bus…[t]he car clipped the bus as it swerved to try to avoid the accident. The bus ended up on its side.”  The WSBtv.com news story indicates that “two students and two adults on the bus were transported to a hospital as a precaution. Another student in one of the cars also was taken to a hospital.”

An accident involving two vehicles injured a pedestrian Saturday afternoon, March 30, 2019. According to Fox28Media.com, “It happened on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 44th street when two vehicles crashed, one spun away and hit a pedestrian trying to cross the street.”  WJCL.com identifies the pedestrian as Felicia Jackson.  “[Ms.] Jackson was taken to the hospital with serious injuries” according to the WJCL.com report.

The investigation is ongoing according to media reports.

A motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a semi truck tragically claimed the life of three people Saturday night, March 30, 2019.

According to 11Alive.com, “Georgia State Patrol is investigating after three people died in a wreck on Highway 49 in Fort Valley Saturday night around 10:35 p.m….an 18-wheeler truck and car collided at the highway’s intersection with Woolfolk Road.”  Macon.com is reporting that a Honda “traveling on Woolfolk Road…pulled onto Ga. 49 and collided with a truck that was carrying fertilizer…[t]he vehicles burst into flames and both vehicles burned completely.”  Macon.com reports the victims of the wreck as “Precious Waters and Kearsten Robinson, both 19, of the Americus area…[t]he driver of the truck Georgia Harris, 55, of Macon.”
