A Macon, Georgia motorcycle accident tragically claimed the life of a rider Wednesday afternoon, April 24, 2019.  According to WGXA.tv, “the accident happened on Emery Highway at Lakeside Road just before 2 p.m.”  41NBC.com is reporting, “53-year-old Eric Ashley of Lizella was traveling west by motorcycle on Emery Highway when a 2004 Nissan Murano turned left from Emory onto Lakeside Road…[b]oth vehicles collided at the intersection.”

A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles injured multiple people Thursday, April 18, 2019.

According to EmanuelCountyLive.com, “Two adults and a child were injured in a collision between two Chevrolet cars on Highway 23 South. The crash occurred at the intersection of Lambs Bridge Road and Highway 23.”  According to the news story, “One female operator was transported to Emanuel Medical Center by Emanuel County EMS. The occupants of the second vehicle were treated by Candler County EMS.”

The investigation continues as to who was at fault in the accident.

A motor vehicle accident on GA 365 involving three vehicles sent 7 individuals to the hospital Saturday, April 20, 2019.

According to AccessWDUN.com, “Habersham County Emergency Services…responded to the wreck on Ga. 365 at Crane Mill Road.”  NowHabersham.com is reporting, “[t]he crash happened around 3:45 p.m. Saturday. It injured all three drivers and their passengers.”  According to the news story, an SUV was driving west on Crane Mill Road attempting to cross over GA 365 South from the median when he pulled into the path of oncoming traffic…A 2017 Jeep Cherokee driven by 28-year-old Cassie Smith of Demorest struck [the] SUV in the front quarter panel. The impact caused [the SUV] to rotate. As it did, a 2010 Honda CR-V driven by 42-year-old Marisa Lovell of Clayton hit the front of the [SUV].” The report states “[a]mbulances transported Smith and Lovell and two teenagers in Lovell’s car to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville…EMS transported Smith’s husband, Daniel, and two young children…to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.”  The driver of the…SUV was charged with failure to yield according to NowHabersham.com.
