A motor vehicle accident in Ochlocknee, Georgia Sunday, September 15, 2019, killed a young woman and injured others.

As reported by WALB.com, “[t]he crash happened at the intersection of Georgia 3 and Highway 188 Sunday afternoon.”

According to the report, “a Toyota failed to yield at a stop sign, which is when the Ford hit the Toyota, flipping onto the passenger side.”

The passenger in the Ford Ranger, identified as “Christin Singletary, 23,” was fatally injured in the accident, per the report.

Others involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for their injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles in Coweta County, Georgia early Sunday morning, September 15, 2019, caused the death of one person.

As reported by Times-Herald.com, “a fiery collision on Interstate 85…occurred just after 5 a.m. Sunday near mile marker 40.”

A Pontiac G6, traveling southbound, struck a Kia sedan parked in the emergency lane.

Both cars caught on fire after the collision and according to the report, “the driver of the Pontiac was able to escape, while the occupant of the Kia succumbed to injuries sustained in the fire.”

The investigation is ongoing, the driver of the Pontiac was charged with DUI, per the media report.

A motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a construction crew tragically resulted in the death of a crew member early Sunday morning, September 15, 2019.

As reported by WSBtv.com, “[t]he accident happened on Interstate 285 at Cascade Road in South Fulton around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.”

According to the report, “crews were repairing the road when a driver ran off the interstate…hit a work truck before hitting the worker.”

11Alive.com is reporting, “[t]he construction worker was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.”

The driver of the vehicle has been charged with reckless driving and homicide by vehicle and additional charges could follow with the results of a blood test, according to the media reports.

The investigation is ongoing.
