A hit-and-run accident injured a bicyclist Monday afternoon, July 29, 2019.

According to AccessWDUN.com, the accident happened on “Poplar Springs Road near Gilleland Circle.”

The driver of the vehicle disappeared from the scene following the crash.

The bicyclist was not seriously injured according to the report.

The driver of the vehicle has been found and arrested.

A motor vehicle accident sadly claimed the life of a pedestrian Saturday night, July 20, 2019.

As reported by AJC.com, “[j]ust before midnight Saturday, officers responded to a call about a man lying in the 1300 block of Beaver Ruin Road in unincorporated Norcross.” Per the report, “[t]he man, identified as 38-year-old Kevin Brown, was unresponsive in the roadway.”

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene.

GwinnettDailyPost.com is reporting, the driver of the vehicle was arrested on Monday and “was charged with hit-and-run resulting in serious injury or death and vehicular homicide.”

A motor vehicle accident sadly claimed the life of a pedestrian Sunday night, July 21, 2019.

As reported by WRBL.com, a “woman was struck Sunday night by a car on Victory Drive, near Border Drive.” According to the report, the victim was transported to “Piedmont Columbus Regional emergency room where she later died from blunt force trauma.”

WTVM.com is reporting the identity of the victim as “20 year old Shani’ya Crapper.” Columbus Police Department Motor Squad is investigating the incident.
