An accident involving a motor vehicle injured a pedestrian Tuesday morning, August 13, 2019.
As reported by 11Alive.com, the incident happened “in a crosswalk on South Norcross Tucker Road near Graves Road…shortly after 8 a.m. on Tuesday”
According to the report, ” a 12-year-old boy walking to school…the boy was carrying his backpack and walking across the road in a marked crosswalk when the minivan struck him, knocking him to the ground.”
The boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
