A motor vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles in Albany, Georgia Thursday afternoon, October 10, 2019, caused the death of one person.
As reported by WFXL.com, “the accident happened near the intersection of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and South Madison Street.”
WALB.com is reporting, “Rushie Bridges, 92, of Albany, was driving a Toyota Corolla, and began traveling south and was hit by [a Dodge] Caravan as it ran the red traffic signal.”
According to the report, the driver of the Dodge Caravan “was charged with first-degree homicide by vehicle, DUI-less safe, hit and run, reckless driving, red light violation, following too closely and open container.”
