A motor vehicle accident in Stephens County, Georgia Friday morning, August 16, 2019, tragically claimed the life of one person and injured two others.
As reported by AccessWDUN.com, the crash was reported “about 9 a.m. on Ga. 106 just west of Ga. 320 near the Stephens/Franklin County line.”
According to the report, “[a] Chevrolet Silverado…crossed the centerline of Ga. 106, striking [a] Ford Fiesta almost head-on.”
The driver of the Ford Fiesta was fatally injured, and WSPA.com has identified the victim as “Anna Mackenzie Whitloc, 18, of Carnesville, Ga.”
The investigation is ongoing.
